Toomer Bros is a contemporary manufacturer of shooting clothes from London, developed by shooters throughout the British countryside.

Toomer Brothers’ aim is to progress shooting clothing by bringing it into today’s world, by echoing the ingenuity of the finest and most progressive London Gunsmiths such as Joe Manton. Combining the latest technical materials, style and contemporary cut, Toomer Brothers products perform as well on the grouse moors of Yorkshire, as they do on the urban streets of London.

The Toomer Brothers' Original Passion

In 1780’s Gamekeepers Richard & Edward Toomer were two brothers who decided to change the life of a pig forever. Richard had trained enough gun dogs that were obstinate as pigs so reasoned he might as well train a pig up as a dog. That is when a little pig destined for the butchers block was saved and given a name she would never forget. So with a lot of hard work before they knew it ‘Slut’ was retrieving game better than their best gun dogs. There was no stopping her galloping over the moors and through forests to become the most talked about gun pig in the land.

In every one of the products we make today we aim to show the same determination and original passion for the sport the brothers did all those years ago. Our logo celebrates and reminds us of the pig that went before us.

We have searched for the best performing technical materials that not only perform, but also happen to look great. This can be seen in our choice of fabric, components and cut. Using fabrics such as Alcantara and an innovative waterproof herringbone weave that was originally developed for the tough demands of snowboarding, we have utilised the best components and modern design for your needs. Thus providing the ultimate shooting clothes for hunting.

When building our shooting clothes we also took inspiration from the finest English gunsmiths that spent so long crafting their product. We know we can always do better and over time and with your feedback we will strive to evolve our products into the best they can be.
